carrying twice = kumpul semula dua kali Ones: 6 + 5 = 11, write 1 and carry 1. Tens: 1 + 4 + 8 = 13, write 3 and carry 1. Hundreds: 1 + 3 + 4 = 8. The answer is 831 m. Example: 257 m + 368 m = 625 m. Watch out: both the ones and the tens need a carry, and 821 m leaves out the carry from the tens.

不进位 = tanpa kumpul semula cm：34 + 52 = 86，还没有到 100，直接写 86。m：2 + 4 = 6。答案 6 m 86 cm。 例子：1 m 12 cm + 3 m 25 cm = 4 m 37 cm。 注意：86 不满 100，m 栏不可以多加 1，7 m 86 cm 就是多加了。

no regrouping = tanpa kumpul semula Centimetres: 34 + 52 = 86, which has not reached 100, so write 86 as it is. Metres: 2 + 4 = 6. The answer is 6 m 86 cm. Example: 1 m 12 cm + 3 m 25 cm = 4 m 37 cm. Watch out: 86 is under 100, so do not add an extra 1 to the metres as 7 m 86 cm does.

厘米满百 = cm cukup 100 cm：46 + 78 = 124，124 − 100 = 24，写 24，进 1 m。m：1 + 5 + 2 = 8。答案 8 m 24 cm。 例子：3 m 55 cm + 1 m 65 cm → 55 + 65 = 120 → 5 m 20 cm。 注意：7 m 124 cm 的 cm 超过 100，还要再整理一次。

刚好 100 cm = tepat 100 cm cm：65 + 35 = 100，刚好 1 m，cm 栏写 0，进 1。m：1 + 18 + 7 = 26。答案 26 m（0 cm 不用写）。 例子：4 m 20 cm + 2 m 80 cm → 20 + 80 = 100 → 7 m。 注意：25 m 100 cm 没有整理；100 cm 一定要换成 1 m。

Example: 4 m 20 cm + 2 m 80 cm → 20 + 80 = 100 → 7 m. Watch out: 25 m 100 cm is not finished, because 100 cm must become 1 m.

只有厘米的那一行 = baris cm sahaja 90 cm 写在 cm 栏，m 栏空着。cm：25 + 90 = 115，115 − 100 = 15，进 1。m：1 + 3 = 4。答案 4 m 15 cm。 例子：2 m 40 cm + 70 cm → 40 + 70 = 110 → 3 m 10 cm。 注意：12 m 25 cm 是把 90 当成 9 m 加进 m 栏了。

a row with only centimetres = baris cm sahaja 90 cm goes in the cm column, leaving its m box empty. Centimetres: 25 + 90 = 115; 115 − 100 = 15 and 1 is carried. Metres: 1 + 3 = 4. The answer is 4 m 15 cm. Example: 2 m 40 cm + 70 cm → 40 + 70 = 110 → 3 m 10 cm. Watch out: 12 m 25 cm comes from putting the 90 into the metre column as if it were 9 m.

三段不进位 = tiga panjang tanpa kumpul semula cm：40 + 35 + 15 = 90，不满 100，直接写 90。m：1 + 2 + 1 = 4。答案 4 m 90 cm。 例子：1 m 10 cm + 1 m 20 cm + 2 m 30 cm = 4 m 60 cm。 注意：没满 100 就不进位，5 m 90 cm 多进了 1。

three lengths without regrouping = tiga panjang tanpa kumpul semula Centimetres: 40 + 35 + 15 = 90, below 100, so write 90 directly. Metres: 1 + 2 + 1 = 4. The answer is 4 m 90 cm. Example: 1 m 10 cm + 1 m 20 cm + 2 m 30 cm = 4 m 60 cm. Watch out: with no 100 there is no carry, so 5 m 90 cm has an extra metre that does not belong.

进 2 = bawa 2 cm：55 + 60 + 95 = 210。210 里有两个 100，剩 10，所以写 10，进 2 m。m：2 + 4 + 3 + 2 = 11。答案 11 m 10 cm。 例子：70 cm + 80 cm + 90 cm = 240 cm = 2 m 40 cm。 注意：三个数加起来超过 200 时要进 2，不是进 1。

答案换成米和厘米 = jawapan dalam m dan cm 85 + 78 = 163 cm。163 里面有一个 100 cm，就是 1 m，剩下 63 cm，所以 163 cm = 1 m 63 cm。 例子：90 cm + 35 cm = 125 cm = 1 m 25 cm。 注意：16 m 3 cm 是把 163 拆错位置；1 m 53 cm 是个位加法少进了 1。

Example: 90 cm + 35 cm = 125 cm = 1 m 25 cm. Watch out: 16 m 3 cm splits 163 in the wrong place, and 1 m 53 cm drops a carry in the ones.
