9 metres in centimetres = 9 m kepada cm 9 m holds nine lots of 100 cm: 9 × 100 = 900 cm. The quick way is to put two zeros after the 9. Example: 6 m = 600 cm; 8 m = 800 cm. Watch out: 90 cm adds only one zero, which treats 1 m as if it were 10 cm.

两位数的米 = meter dua digit 25 m 就是 25 个一百厘米，所以 25 × 100 = 2 500 cm。两位数的米乘一百以后，会变成四位数的厘米，数字一下子变大很多，这是正常的。 例子：14 m = 1 400 cm；30 m = 3 000 cm。 注意：250 cm 只乘了 10；25 000 cm 是乘了 1 000，都不对。

two-digit metres = meter dua digit 25 × 100 = 2 500 cm. A two-digit number of metres becomes a four-digit number of centimetres after multiplying by 100. Example: 14 m = 1 400 cm; 30 m = 3 000 cm. Watch out: 250 cm was only multiplied by 10, and 25 000 cm was multiplied by 1 000; both are wrong.

米和厘米合起来 = gabung m dan cm 6 m = 600 cm，加上原来的 72 cm：600 + 72 = 672 cm。 例子：3 m 25 cm = 325 cm；7 m 90 cm = 790 cm。 注意：600 cm 漏掉了 72 cm；678 cm 是把 6 和 72 相加再接起来，不对。

putting metres and centimetres together = gabung m dan cm 6 m = 600 cm, and adding the 72 cm already there gives 600 + 72 = 672 cm. Example: 3 m 25 cm = 325 cm; 7 m 90 cm = 790 cm. Watch out: 600 cm leaves out the 72 cm, and 678 cm comes from mixing up the digits.

四位数的厘米 = sentimeter empat digit 13 m = 13 × 100 = 1 300 cm，再加 40 cm：1 300 + 40 = 1 340 cm。 例子：11 m 20 cm = 1 120 cm；16 m 5 cm = 1 605 cm。 注意：40 的 4 在十位，1 304 cm 把它放到个位去了。

four-digit centimetres = sentimeter empat digit 13 m = 13 × 100 = 1 300 cm, then add 40 cm: 1 300 + 40 = 1 340 cm. Example: 11 m 20 cm = 1 120 cm; 16 m 5 cm = 1 605 cm. Watch out: the 4 of 40 sits in the tens place, but 1 304 cm puts it in the ones place.

整百厘米化米 = ratus cm kepada m 每一百厘米合成一米，800 里面有八个一百，所以 800 ÷ 100 = 8，800 cm = 8 m。也可以直接把后面两个零去掉，剩下的数就是米。 例子：300 cm = 3 m；900 cm = 9 m。 注意：80 m 只去掉一个 0；800 m 根本没有换算，只是把单位改了。

hundreds of centimetres to metres = ratus cm kepada m 800 ÷ 100 = 8, so 800 cm = 8 m. You can also just remove the last two zeros. Example: 300 cm = 3 m; 900 cm = 9 m. Watch out: 80 m removes only one zero, and 800 m changes the unit without converting the number at all.

四位数厘米化米 = cm empat digit kepada m 3 400 ÷ 100 = 34，所以 3 400 cm = 34 m。去掉最后两个 0 就得到 34。 例子：2 100 cm = 21 m；5 000 cm = 50 m。 注意：3 m 4 cm 只有 304 cm，比 3 400 cm 短很多。

four-digit centimetres to metres = cm empat digit kepada m 3 400 ÷ 100 = 34, so 3 400 cm = 34 m. Taking off the last two zeros leaves 34. Example: 2 100 cm = 21 m; 5 000 cm = 50 m. Watch out: 3 m 4 cm is only 304 cm, far shorter than 3 400 cm.

拆成米和厘米 = pisah kepada m dan cm 518 = 500 + 18。500 cm = 5 m，剩下 18 cm，所以是 5 m 18 cm。 例子：276 cm = 2 m 76 cm；934 cm = 9 m 34 cm。 注意：最后两位数一起是厘米；51 m 8 cm 是拆错了位置。

splitting into metres and centimetres = pisah kepada m dan cm 518 = 500 + 18. 500 cm is 5 m, and 18 cm is left, so the answer is 5 m 18 cm. Example: 276 cm = 2 m 76 cm; 934 cm = 9 m 34 cm. Watch out: the last two digits together are the centimetres; 51 m 8 cm splits the number in the wrong place.

零头只有个位 = baki satu digit 2 607 = 2 600 + 7。2 600 ÷ 100 = 26 m，剩下 7 cm，所以是 26 m 7 cm。 例子：1 803 cm = 18 m 3 cm；3 009 cm = 30 m 9 cm。 注意：零头写作 07，是 7 cm，不是 70 cm；厘米部分也不能超过 99。

a one-digit leftover = baki satu digit 2 607 = 2 600 + 7. 2 600 ÷ 100 = 26 m, with 7 cm left, so the answer is 26 m 7 cm. Example: 1 803 cm = 18 m 3 cm; 3 009 cm = 30 m 9 cm. Watch out: the leftover 07 means 7 cm, not 70 cm, and the centimetre part can never go above 99.

找相等的长度 = cari panjang yang sama 7 m 9 cm = 700 + 9 = 709 cm。9 cm 没有十位，所以十位写 0。 例子：4 m 6 cm = 406 cm，跟 460 cm 不一样。 注意：790 cm 是 7 m 90 cm；79 cm 连 1 m 都不到。

finding the equal length = cari panjang yang sama 7 m 9 cm = 700 + 9 = 709 cm. Nine centimetres has no tens, so the tens digit is 0. Example: 4 m 6 cm = 406 cm, which is not the same as 460 cm. Watch out: 790 cm is really 7 m 90 cm, and 79 cm is not even 1 m long.
