值日表 = jadual bertugas；电源开关 = suis elektrik；准时 = tepat pada masa 这一屏列出在课室里每个学生的四项责任：按值日表扫地和整理、把桌椅排整齐、离开前关掉风扇和电灯、准时交作业。这些都是小事，但每天做好，课室就干净、安全、有秩序。 例子：Aiman 是最后一个离开课室的人，他记得把四个风扇和电灯都关掉。 注意：不是值日生也可以帮忙捡地上的垃圾，这也是责任。

duty roster = jadual bertugas; electric switch = suis elektrik; on time = tepat pada masa This screen lists four classroom duties of every pupil: sweep and tidy following the duty roster, arrange the tables and chairs neatly, switch off the fans and lights before leaving, and hand in homework on time. They are small jobs, but doing them daily keeps the class clean, safe and orderly. Example: Aiman is the last to leave, so he remembers to switch off all four fans and the lights. Watch out: even when you are not on duty, picking up litter is still your responsibility.

值日 = bertugas；扫地 = menyapu；放学钟 = loceng pulang 今天轮到 Siti 值日扫地，放学钟已经响了。她很想马上回家，可是责任还没完成。负责任的人会先把工作做完，再离开；只做一半或丢给别人，都是不负责任。 例子：Wong 值日那天妈妈早到了，他请妈妈等五分钟，扫完才走。 注意：如果真的有急事，要先告诉老师或跟同学换班，不可以一声不响就走。

on duty = bertugas; sweep = menyapu; home-time bell = loceng pulang Today Siti is on duty to sweep the class, and the home-time bell has rung. She wants to go home at once, but her duty is not done. A responsible person finishes the job before leaving; doing half or leaving it to others is not responsible. Example: Wong's mother arrives early on his duty day, so he asks her to wait five minutes while he finishes. Watch out: if you have an emergency, tell the teacher or swap with a friend instead of slipping away.

角色 = Peranan；班长 = ketua kelas；图书管理员 = Pengawas Pusat Sumber；借还书柜台 = kaunter sirkulasi 学校里不同的学生有不同的角色：班长维持课室秩序、帮老师做事；学长在食堂和周会时管纪律；资源中心管理员在柜台登记借书；体育室管理员整理并登记球和器材。每个角色都要尽责。 例子：体育课后，体育室管理员 Ravi 数好六个篮球，一个不少才锁门。 注意：有职位的人要以身作则，自己先守规矩。

The class monitor keeps the class calm and helps the teacher; prefects keep discipline in the canteen and at assembly; library prefects record borrowed books at the counter; the sports store helper arranges and records equipment. Example: after PE, Ravi counts all six basketballs before locking the sports store. Watch out: pupils with a post must set an example by following the rules first.

舒适 = selesa；有秩序 = teratur；被重视 = dihargai 为什么要负责任？课室会干净舒服，学校会安全有秩序，同学和老师也会喜欢、信任我们。把工作完成以后，我们会觉得开心、自豪，也觉得自己的付出被看见。 例子：Kavitha 的小组每天把花盆浇好水，老师在周会上表扬她们，她们觉得很自豪。 注意：就算没有人表扬，做好责任的满足感也是真的。

The classroom stays clean and comfortable, the school stays safe and orderly, and friends and teachers like and trust us. After finishing a job we feel happy, proud and appreciated. Example: Kavitha's group waters the plant pots every day, the teacher praises them at assembly, and they feel proud. Watch out: even when nobody praises you, the satisfaction of a job well done is real.

归还 = Memulangkan；截止日期 = tarikh akhir；资源中心 = Pusat Sumber Jason 向资源中心借了一本故事书，今天是还书的最后一天。负责任的做法是按时把书拿到借还书柜台，让管理员登记。随便放在桌上，书可能弄丢，别人也借不到。 例子：Nurul 前一晚就把要还的书放进书包，第二天一早拿去柜台。 注意：书还没看完可以去柜台申请续借，不可以自己拖着不还。

return = memulangkan; due date = tarikh akhir; resource centre = Pusat Sumber Jason borrowed a storybook from the resource centre, and today is the last day to return it. The responsible action is to take it to the circulation counter on time so the prefect can record it. Leaving it on any table means it may get lost and nobody else can borrow it. Example: Nurul puts the book in her bag the night before and hands it in first thing in the morning. Watch out: if you have not finished, ask at the counter to renew it instead of keeping it late.

配对 = padankan；排队 = barisan；带领 = mengetuai 这一屏把学校里的角色和他们的工作连起来：资源中心管理员、体育室管理员、学长、班长和值日生。先想一想每个人在哪里工作，就容易配对：图书在资源中心，球拍在体育室，排队在食堂，向老师问好在课室。 例子：老师进课室时，班长带全班说“Selamat pagi, cikgu”。 注意：值日生不是一个职位，每个人轮到那天都要做。

match = padankan; queue line = barisan; lead = mengetuai This screen links school roles to their tasks: library prefect, sports store helper, prefect, class monitor and the pupil on duty. Think about where each person works and matching becomes easy: books in the resource centre, rackets in the store, queues in the canteen, greetings in the classroom. Example: when the teacher walks in, the class monitor leads everyone in greeting the teacher. Watch out: being on duty is not a post; everybody takes a turn.

分工 = Pembahagian tugas；布告板 = papan kenyataan；汇报 = bentangkan 全班要布置一个道德教育角落。负责任的小组做事有顺序：先把工作分给每个组员，再准备工具和材料，然后布置布告板，最后向全班汇报成果。每个人都完成自己那份，专案才会成功。 例子：Daniel 负责剪字，Siti 负责贴图，Jason 负责写标题，三个人同时进行。 注意：还没分工就开始做，常常会有人没事做、有人做太多。

A responsible group works in order: divide the jobs among members, prepare the tools and materials, decorate the notice board, and finally present the result to the class. The project succeeds when everyone completes his part. Example: Daniel cuts the letters, Siti pastes the pictures and Jason writes the heading at the same time. Watch out: starting before dividing the work often leaves some idle and others overloaded.

班长 = ketua kelas；吵闹 = bising；安静 = tenang Ravi 是班长，老师还没来，课室吵得很厉害。班长的责任是维持秩序，所以他应该请同学回座位、安静看书。跟着一起吵，或者自己跑出去，都是丢下了自己的责任。 例子：Mei Ling 当班长时，老师迟到，她请大家拿出故事书默读，课室马上安静了。 注意：叫同学安静时语气要有礼貌，不需要大声骂人。

class monitor = ketua kelas; noisy = bising; calm = tenang Ravi is the class monitor. The teacher has not arrived and the class is very noisy. A monitor's duty is to keep order, so he should ask friends to sit down and read quietly. Joining the noise or leaving the class means abandoning his responsibility. Example: when the teacher is late, Mei Ling asks everyone to take out a storybook, and the class becomes quiet at once. Watch out: ask friends to be quiet politely; there is no need to shout at anyone.

浪费 = membazir；电费 = bil elektrik；节省 = menjimatkan 全班去食堂吃东西，课室空了，可是风扇和灯还开着。这样会有什么后果？电一直在用，却没有人享受，学校要付更多电费，这笔钱本来可以买书或器材。 例子：Aiman 的班级贴了一张“Tutup suis!”提醒卡在门边，每次离开都记得关。 注意：开关坏了或有火花，不要自己碰，要马上告诉老师。

waste = membazir; electricity bill = bil elektrik; save = menjimatkan The whole class goes to the canteen and the room is empty, yet the fans and lights are still on. What happens? Electricity is used with nobody enjoying it, and the school pays a bigger bill; that money could have bought books or equipment. Example: Aiman's class sticks a reminder card by the door, so they remember to switch off every time they leave. Watch out: if a switch is broken or sparks, do not touch it; tell a teacher at once.

不负责任 = tidak bertanggungjawab；留下 = meninggalkan；排队 = beratur 这题要找出“不负责任”的行为，跟平常找对的做法不一样，要看清楚题目。三个选项中，两个是好习惯，一个是玩完球就丢在操场不收回体育室，让别人帮忙收拾。 例子：Jason 玩完羽毛球，把球拍和球放回体育室的篮子，这才是负责任。 注意：题目有 TIDAK（不）这个字时，要选做错的那一个。

irresponsible = tidak bertanggungjawab; leave behind = meninggalkan; queue = beratur This question asks for the irresponsible behaviour, which is different from the usual right-action question, so read carefully. Two choices are good habits, and one is leaving the ball on the field after playing so that someone else must clear up. Example: after badminton, Jason puts the rackets and shuttlecock back in the store basket, which is responsible. Watch out: when a question has the word TIDAK, pick the wrong behaviour.

清洁 = kebersihan；全部 = semua；只有 = sahaja 课室是全班一起用的地方，所以保持干净不是某一个人的工作。班长负责提醒，清洁工负责走廊和厕所，但课室里的垃圾、桌椅和黑板，每个学生都要照顾。 例子：Siti 削完铅笔，把铅笔屑倒进垃圾桶，不留在桌底。 注意：sahaja 的意思是“只有”，看到 sahaja 要想清楚是不是真的只有那个人。

cleanliness = kebersihan; all = semua; only = sahaja The classroom is shared by the whole class, so keeping it clean is not one person's job. The monitor reminds others and the cleaners look after corridors and toilets, but the litter, desks and board inside the class are every pupil's care. Example: Siti sharpens her pencil and empties the shavings into the bin instead of leaving them under the desk. Watch out: sahaja means only; when you see it, check whether it is really just that one person.
