Cabar Minda

Setiap bentuk mewakili satu nombor. Bentuk yang sama mewakili nombor yang sama.

▲ + ▲ = 1 000
▲ + ■ = 1 700

Cabar Minda
shapes stand for numbers = bentuk mewakili nombor In these puzzles each shape stands for a number, and the same shape always means the same number. Start with the sentence that has only one kind of shape, find its value, then use it in the other sentences. Example: ▲ + ▲ = 1 000; two equal numbers make 1 000, so ▲ = 500. Watch out: a shape has the same value in every sentence.
Langkah 1

Jika ▲ + ▲ = 1 000, apakah nilai ▲?

two equal numbers = dua nombor yang sama ▲ + ▲ means a number added to itself. Which number added to itself makes 1 000? 500 + 500 = 1 000, so ▲ = 500. Example: ● + ● = 60 → ● = 30. Watch out: ▲ is not 1 000; 1 000 is the total of two triangles.
Langkah 2

▲ = 500. Jika ▲ + ■ = 1 700, apakah nilai ■?

substitute = gantikan Replace ▲ with 500: 500 + ■ = 1 700. From 500 to 1 700 is 1 200, so ■ = 1 200. Example: 30 + ◆ = 100 → ◆ = 70. Watch out: check that 500 + 1 200 = 1 700.
Langkah 3

▲ = 500, ■ = 1 200. Jika ▲ + ■ + ● = 3 000, apakah nilai ●?

three shapes = tiga bentuk Add the two you know: 500 + 1 200 = 1 700. Then 1 700 + ● = 3 000; from 1 700 to 3 000 is 1 300. Example: 100 + 200 + ★ = 1 000 → ★ = 700. Watch out: check that 500 + 1 200 + 1 300 = 3 000.
Ringkasan

Syabas!

▲ = 500 · ■ = 1 200 · ● = 1 300
