Pengurusan Sisa Pepejal

Setiap hari kita membuang sisa pepejal seperti plastik, kertas, tin dan sisa makanan. Mari kita belajar mengurus sisa dengan bijak supaya bumi kekal bersih.
Tatabahasa: Ayat Tanya Tanpa Kata Tanya

Pengurusan Sisa Pepejal
固体废料 = sisa pepejal;管理 = pengurusan;回收 = kitar semula 这一课讲怎样处理家里和学校的固体废料:垃圾分类、把旧东西变成有用的物品、看懂收垃圾时间表、读一首关于废食用油的现代诗。语法学不用疑问词的疑问句。 例子:塑料、纸张、铁罐、厨余都是固体废料。 注意:pepejal 是“固体”,跟液体的废水不同。
solid waste = sisa pepejal; management = pengurusan; recycle = kitar semula This unit is about handling solid waste at home and at school: sorting rubbish, turning old things into useful objects, reading a collection timetable, and reading a modern poem about used cooking oil. The grammar focus is questions without question words. Example: plastic, paper, tin cans and food scraps are all solid waste. Watch out: pepejal means solid, which is different from liquid waste water.

Dua cara mengasingkan sisa

Pilih satu cara dan beri sebabnya.

Tong biru

kertas, kotak, surat khabar

Tong oren

plastik, tin aluminium

Tong coklat

botol dan balang kaca
Ibu: Siti, cara manakah kamu pilih?
sorting = pengasingan; recycling bin = tong kitar semula; reason = sebab There are two ways to sort waste: separate it at home into different bags before the rubbish lorry comes, or take recyclables to recycling bins. In Malaysia the bins are blue for paper, orange for plastic and aluminium cans, and brown for glass. When you state your choice, add a reason. Example: Saya memilih tong kitar semula kerana sekolah saya ada tong itu. Watch out: neither choice is wrong, but you must give a reason with kerana.

glass = kaca; soy sauce bottle = botol kicap; empty = kosong Ravi's soy sauce bottle is made of glass, and glass goes into the brown bin. The blue bin is for paper and boxes, and the orange bin is for plastic bottles and aluminium cans. Many pupils hear the word bottle, think of plastic, and wrongly pick the orange bin. Example: Balang kaca jem yang kosong dimasukkan ke dalam tong coklat. Watch out: check what material the item is made of before choosing the bin.

Barang lama yang berbakti

Baca dialog dengan sebutan dan intonasi yang betul.

Tin Susu: Dahulu aku hampir dibuang ke tapak pelupusan sampah. Sekarang aku menjadi pasu bunga!
Kotak Kasut: Aku pula menjadi bekas alat tulis Aishah.
Seluar Jean Lama: Mak Ngah menjahit aku menjadi beg. Kita dapat berbakti semula!
Tin Susu: Betul! Bahan buangan di tapak sampah pun berkurang.

Bahan buangan

barang yang dibuang

Tapak pelupusan sampah

tempat sampah dilonggokkan

Berbakti

berguna dan menolong
waste materials = bahan buangan; landfill = tapak pelupusan sampah; be of service = berbakti This is a dialogue in which objects talk. Aishah visits her aunt's house, where old things have become decorations. A milk tin nearly went to the landfill and is now a flower pot; a shoebox has become a pencil holder; old jeans were sewn into a bag. They are happy to be useful again, and the landfill gets less rubbish. Example: Botol plastik lama boleh berbakti semula sebagai penyiram pokok. Watch out: when reading the parts aloud, use a cheerful voice for lines ending with an exclamation mark.
Membaca · Soalan 2

Mengapakah barang-barang itu gembira?

开心 = gembira;再次 = semula;商店 = kedai 铁罐、鞋盒和旧牛仔裤开心,是因为它们被改造成花盆、笔筒和袋子,能再次派上用场。它们本来差点被丢去垃圾场,所以“被带去垃圾场”刚好相反;故事里也没有说阿姨在店里买了它们。 例子:Kertas terpakai berbakti semula sebagai kad ucapan. 注意:回答“为什么”时,要在对话里找出原因,不要自己猜。
happy = gembira; again = semula; shop = kedai The milk tin, shoebox and old jeans are happy because they were turned into a flower pot, a pencil holder and a bag, so they are useful again. They nearly went to the landfill, so being taken there is the opposite, and the story never says the aunt bought them at a shop. Example: Kertas terpakai berbakti semula sebagai kad ucapan. Watch out: for why questions, find the reason in the dialogue instead of guessing.

Membetulkan susunan kata

Notis jadual kutipan sisa daripada majlis daerah.

Susunan salahSusunan betul
Makanan sisa dikutip dua kali seminggu.Sisa makanan dikutip dua kali seminggu.
Pukal sisa seperti tilam lama dikutip sebulan sekali.Sisa pukal seperti tilam lama dikutip sebulan sekali.
Sampah dikutip akan pada hari Isnin.Sampah akan dikutip pada hari Isnin.
Penduduk risalah membaca itu.Penduduk membaca risalah itu.
语序 = susunan kata;大件垃圾 = sisa pukal;传单 = risalah;收集 = dikutip 马来文的语序和华文常常相反:被形容的词在前,形容的词在后。所以“厨余”是 sisa makanan,“大件垃圾”是 sisa pukal。助动词 akan(将会)要放在动词前面;动词要放在宾语前面,像 membaca risalah。这份地方政府通告里的错句都是语序问题。 例子:Tong sampah besar diletakkan di tepi jalan. 注意:照华文顺序直接翻译,最容易把语序弄反。
word order = susunan kata; bulky waste = sisa pukal; leaflet = risalah; collected = dikutip Malay word order is often the reverse of English: the word being described comes first and the describing word follows. So food waste is sisa makanan and bulky waste is sisa pukal. The helper word akan comes before the verb, and the verb comes before its object, as in membaca risalah. Every wrong sentence in this council notice has a word order problem. Example: Tong sampah besar diletakkan di tepi jalan. Watch out: translating word by word from English or Chinese is the quickest way to get the order wrong.
Menulis · Soalan 3

Ayat manakah yang susunannya betul?

星期六 = hari Sabtu;将会 = akan;被收集 = dikutip 三个句子用的词都一样,只是次序不同。“大件垃圾”要写成 sisa pukal,因为被形容的 sisa 在前;akan 要放在 dikutip 前面,表示“将会被收集”。把 pukal 放前面,或把 akan 放到动词后面,都是语序错误。 例子:Kertas terpakai akan dihantar ke pusat kitar semula. 注意:读出来觉得拗口的句子,多半是语序有问题。
Saturday = hari Sabtu; will = akan; collected = dikutip All three sentences use the same words in different orders. Bulky waste must be sisa pukal, because the described word sisa comes first, and akan must come before dikutip to mean will be collected. Putting pukal first or moving akan after the verb are both word order errors. Example: Kertas terpakai akan dihantar ke pusat kitar semula. Watch out: if a sentence sounds awkward when read aloud, the word order is often the problem.

Sajak: Pesanan Si Minyak

Sajak ialah puisi moden yang bebas.

Kawan,
jangan tuang aku ke dalam singki,
aku akan menyumbat paip,
mengalir ke sungai,
ikan-ikan lemas dalam kegelapan.
Kumpulkan aku dalam botol,
hantarlah ke pusat kitar semula,
aku boleh menjadi sabun yang wangi,
atau lilin yang menerangi malam.
Inilah luahan hatiku,
minyak masak terpakai,
sayangilah bumi
selagi masih ada esok.
modern poem = sajak; outpouring of feelings = luahan; used cooking oil = minyak masak terpakai; darkness = kegelapan A sajak is a modern poem with free line counts and no fixed rhyme, unlike the pantun and syair. Here the used cooking oil speaks: verse one says pouring it down the sink blocks pipes and pollutes rivers; verse two asks us to bottle it for recycling into soap or candles; verse three is its heartfelt plea. Example: read verse one in a low, sad voice and verse two in a hopeful voice. Watch out: a sajak need not rhyme, so do not check it for an a-b-a-b pattern.

Isi sajak

Apakah pesanan setiap rangkap?

Rangkap 1

例子:Ibu mengumpul minyak terpakai dalam botol plastik selepas menggoreng ikan. 注意:总结主旨时,要把每一节的意思都包括进去。
main message = pesanan utama; block = menyumbat; pollute = mencemarkan Verse one shows the result: oil poured into the sink blocks pipes and flows to the river, harming the fish. Verse two shows the solution: bottle it and send it for recycling into soap or candles. Verse three gives the wish: love the earth. Together, the main message is not to pour used oil down the sink but to collect it for recycling. Example: Ibu mengumpul minyak terpakai dalam botol plastik selepas menggoreng ikan. Watch out: a main message should cover the ideas of every verse.
Seni Bahasa · Soalan 4

Apakah pesanan utama sajak itu?

主旨 = pesanan utama;煮 = memasak;倒 = tuang 诗里的油请大家把它装瓶送去回收,这就是主旨。诗没有叫我们以后不再用油煮东西;而把油倒进水槽,即使用很多水冲,也正是诗里说会堵塞水管、污染河流的做法。 例子:Sekolah kami ada tong khas untuk mengumpul minyak masak terpakai. 注意:主旨通常是诗人最希望读者去做的那件事。
main message = pesanan utama; cook = memasak; pour = tuang The oil in the poem asks us to bottle it and send it for recycling, and that is the main message. The poem never tells us to stop cooking with oil, and pouring oil into the sink, even with plenty of water, is exactly the action the poem says blocks pipes and pollutes rivers. Example: Sekolah kami ada tong khas untuk mengumpul minyak masak terpakai. Watch out: the main message is usually what the poet most wants readers to do.

Ayat Tanya Tanpa Kata Tanya

Lina membantu Mak Cik Rosmah di kantin sekolah.

Lina: Ini alat perangkap sisa makanan, mak cik? ↗
Mak Cik Rosmah: Ya. Alat ini dipasang di bawah singki.
Lina: Sisa makanan tidak masuk ke longkang? ↗
Mak Cik Rosmah: Betul. Longkang bebas daripada sisa kotoran.
Lina: Mudahkah alat ini dibersihkan?

Cara 1

Naikkan nada di hujung ayat ↗

Cara 2

Tambah -kah: mudahkah, bolehkah

Tanda baca

Akhiri dengan ?
不带疑问词的疑问句 = ayat tanya tanpa kata tanya;隔渣器 = perangkap sisa makanan;水槽 = singki 这种疑问句没有 siapa、apa、bila 等疑问词。说话时把句尾的语调提高,别人就知道你在问问题;也可以在被问的词后面加 -kah,例如 mudahkah(容易吗)。Lina 在食堂帮忙,看到水槽下的隔渣器,就用这种句子问阿姨。 例子:Kamu sudah makan? ↗ / Bolehkah saya membantu? 注意:书写时句末一定要有问号,否则会变成陈述句。
question without a question word = ayat tanya tanpa kata tanya; food waste trap = perangkap sisa makanan; sink = singki This kind of question has no word such as siapa, apa or bila. When speaking, raise your voice at the end so people know you are asking; or add -kah to the word being asked about, as in mudahkah, meaning is it easy. Lina, helping in the canteen, uses such questions to ask about the trap under the sink. Example: Kamu sudah makan? or Bolehkah saya membantu? Watch out: in writing, the question mark is essential, or the sentence becomes a statement.
Tatabahasa · Soalan 5

Ayat manakah ayat tanya tanpa kata tanya?

洗 = membasuh;盘子 = pinggan;问号 = tanda soal 要找的句子必须同时符合两点:没有疑问词,而且是在问问题。有 siapakah 的那句有疑问词,所以不算;句末是句号的那句是在陈述事实,不是问题。只有没有疑问词、句末是问号的那一句才对。 例子:Adik sudah tidur? ↗ 注意:两句的字完全一样时,看句末是问号还是句号。
wash = membasuh; plate = pinggan; question mark = tanda soal The answer must meet two conditions: it has no question word, and it is asking something. The sentence with siapakah has a question word, so it does not count, and the one ending with a full stop states a fact rather than asking. Only the sentence with no question word and a question mark fits. Example: Adik sudah tidur? Watch out: when two sentences use the same words, look at whether they end with a question mark or a full stop.
Tatabahasa · Bina Ayat

Susun kad menjadi ayat tanya

安装 = dipasang;在下面 = di bawah;这个工具 = alat ini 这句话的意思是“这个工具装在水槽下面吗?”。先说是什么东西(Alat ini),再说怎样(dipasang),最后说在哪里(di bawah singki)。整句没有疑问词,只靠句尾的问号和上扬的语调来提问。 例子:Tong ini untuk kertas sahaja? 注意:ini 要紧跟在 Alat 后面。
installed = dipasang; underneath = di bawah; this tool = alat ini This sentence asks whether the tool is installed under the sink. Start with the thing (Alat ini), then the state (dipasang), then the place (di bawah singki). There is no question word; only the question mark and a rising voice turn it into a question. Example: Tong ini untuk kertas sahaja? Watch out: ini must come right after Alat.
